Mark loves being part of a dynamic team who have fun working together, solve problems and produce amazing results.
As IT consultant and trainer, software developer, researcher and senior lecturer in computer science, Mark has worked with Xerox Parc, IBM, the BBC, Imperial College London and DeMontfort University. Mark worked for two years in Kenya, with VSO, as trainer for a rural IT college. He has a deep passion for the human aspect of learning, change and development. He has a certificate in Education For Sustainability from Schumacher College and a PhD in programming language theory from Imperial College.
A creative problem solver in the field of IT for positive change with a unique and powerful combination of soft and hard skills: trained facilitator and educational process designer with background in software and ICT4D.
Specializes in: facilitation, charisma, educational process, workshop design and leadership. Creating and leading experiential learning events. Systems analysis, requirements capture, software architecture design and implementation.
