Aptivate celebrates 10 years in International development
2013 was our 10th Anniversary year as an organisation. From the start we have been focused on the appropriate use of information technology for international development. We are now proudly working with a whole host of dedicated clients and partners around the world and have done some amazing work!
To celebrate we spent a day together reminiscing and looking to the future. In the morning we created a timeline of the last 10 years for Aptivate. We started by adding ourselves and the people who have contributed over the years and went on to add facts, pictures and funny quotes. By the end the timeline was a great representation of all the fun Aptivate has been over the years.
The afternoon was all about sharing the success stories of Aptivate and looking at the impact the projects have had. Kavita shared a presentation about projects this year and introduced some people who have been affected by our work. Alan and Martin showed us some great video footage sharing moments captured on international trips.
This year we are looking forward to a few new projects and to continue working with some familiar faces. Let's hope the next 10 years are just as amazing as the last!
